Transfer Ladle

A ladle is used to transfer a large amount of molten metal from one process to another. Typically, a transfer ladle will be used to transfer molten metal from a primary melting furnace to either a holding furnace or a pouring station.
They are often used to hold metal while it is treated by degassing and/or fluxing.
Foundry ladles are normally rated by their working capacity rather than by their physical size.
In most foundries, the foundry ladle refers to a steel vessel that has a lifting bail fitted so that the vessel can be carried by an overhead crane or monorail system and is also fitted with a mechanical means for rotating the vessel, usually in the form of a gearbox. The gearbox can either be manually operated or powered operation. And also many times it is forklift lifted and operated. In some cases, it is with hydraulic tilting mechanism.
CeraTherm Innovative Transfer Ladles - are Crucible based, Crucible produced with vibration casting from specially designed castable, the steel body with precise fabrication and gap in between filled with appropriate backup insulation.
CeraTherm Transfer Ladles are constructed with Pre-fired Precast Shape/Liner produced with vibration casting from specially designed castable refractory material. Which results in to more durability and less temperature losses during transport of molten metal.
CeraTherm Supply the ladle with specially designed & user friendly covers to avoid heat loss.
With higher insulating properties helps to maintain temperature while transferring. Become Highly Energy Efficient. High thermal shock resistance results in better performance life.
Very less preheating required to starts with, higher thermal shock resistance gives benefits to avoid cracks
Major Benefits:
High thermal shock Resistance.
Excellent Mechanical Strength and Properties.
Excellent Erosion & Crack resistance, High non wetting, non-sticking properties.
Highly Insulating, Low Thermal conductivity and Low Thermal Expansion.
Good Flexural Strength and cold compressive Strength.
