Breakdown Powder

The product breakdown agent used for sodium silicate binder system to improve the collapsilility of cores & moulds produced by carbondioxide process and self-setting process. With use of sodium silicate & carbon dioxide process, retains their strength even at higher tempreture. This retained high strength makes core & mould knockout very difficult, breakdown agent not only eases removal of sand from cores & moulds from the casting surface, but also improves surface finish of the castings & imparts very easy knockout properties.
