Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Diploma in Electrical

Engineering.

I have started my career in 1974 in Kirloskar group foundry in Solapur as a Tech

Asst. In Q.C. dept. foundry supplying Castings to Tractor, Railways, Heavy

engines, 10 years I was Q.C. I/c later 12 Years in Prod. Dept. looking after Blocks

& Heads. 

Later up to 2012 I have worked in 10 diff. organizations as a Prod.

Head or Technically highest authority.

My strong areas are Development. Rejection control with minor changes in

process, methoding etc., Metallurgical Problem solving. Dimension Inspection &

control, Q.A., Customer handling. etc.

I have worked in Supply chain for 5 Years procuring Casting from Wt. 1 Kg. to 69

M.T. single piece in all type of Metals, C.I., S.G. Steel, H.R.C.S. all grades, Brass,

Gun Metal. These castings were reqd. For Sugar, Boiler, Cement Heavy Gear

boxes. *Savings in Walchandnagar Industries Ltd. = 60/70 Lacs.

I am doing Tech. Consultancy from 2012. Quality, Rejection Control, Dev. In C.I.& S.G. Iron foundries in Kolhapur, Belgaum

region.

Dimensional Inspection and Marking:-

Design of averaging, sighting fixtures for cr. case, blocks and various types of housings. Setting up reference for machining of any castings to reduce machining or foundry scrap on Dimensional account.

I am familiar with quality circle techniques. I was leader of quality circles. Our circles have won 1st and 2nd prize in the company level competition at Solapur in year 1992.

I am familiar with the following: -

• Design of gating for the jobs 5 kg. to 500 kg., any type casting.

• Selection of parting line, design of mold and core venting.

• Design of core setting fixtures, template.
